Navajo Reservation Windmill #1A (R-164)
Navajo Reservation Windmill #1A (R-164)
We parked near here three hours, waiting for sundown and the right light. Spent the last 30 minutes of that time, making my way along a barbed-wire fenceline that is so well-maintained you can't squeeze through or crawl under. Finally found a gated opening. Then, a hike way "out there" through the sage-brush, to set up for the shoot. Always keeping an eye out for rattlesnakes. This is on that part of the Navajo Indian Reservation that is in southeastern Utah. The windmill is a few miles down the highway from the pickup truck seen in RR-306, Roadside Relics.
