Montana Fenceline (R-122). Along the Yellowstone River in northeastern Montana. In the area of the famous Spotted Ass Ranch. Seventy miles of dirt road, somewhere between Miles City and the town of Custer. Met one other vehicle - a ranch pickup truck - in the three-hour meandering drive. Was a pleasant morning.
