About the on-line reading of my Ranch Country book, GUARDIANS OF THE LAND. I recently decided to go ahead and put the rest of the book on-line, all a the same time, instead of adding another chapter one month at a time. The last seven ranches are now available for reading, plus our remote crossing of the Upper Missouri River by way of a two-vehicle ferry powered by a tractor engine and operated by a woman, a retired school teacher. I think you’ll enjoy “meeting” these ranch people as much as you did on the other ranches. And wait’ll you see the Dugout Ranch photos!
Am working on getting Backroad Episodes #2, 3, and 4 back on-line. Thanks for your patience in continuing to check back on this.
Have also been working on Episode #6, of May-June this year. The writing of it has reached the point where, in a way, it’s a lot like reliving the adventure. The fun of it. That’s one thing about being a writer. You have the adventure in reality, and then later, when writing about it. But winter’s on us now, so Maggie and I won’t be getting “out there” again for several months. Am already planning the schedule for May and June of next year. Round ‘em up and move ‘em out!
And here's something I should have mentioned a long time ago. The size of font/type in the website is necessarily formatted that size. The protocol(?) doesn't allow me to make entries in larger-size font. But (and I hope you've already figured this out)...to make the reading easier, just go to VIEW on your Desk Top Menu; then click a couple of times on ZOOM IN.
