All my photos (including a lot that aren't in my Ranch Country website) are now available for viewing and possible purchase on-line at the Yessy Art Gallery, one of the Internet's premier commercial art galleries. That gallery will now be the main source of displaying my for-sale photos, the reason being: It is much easier and less cosly for me to enter photos into the Yessy Art Gallery, and to insert and edit accompanying technical and anecdotal data. And I think you will find it much easier and more entertaining to view my photos viz a viz the Yessy Art Gallery.

As of this date, the construction of my gallery in the Yessy Art Gallery is complete; all my images that I think are of art gallery quality are now in the Yessy site. With that done, I'll use the Robert McCune Bio page in that site, to let viewers know when new images have been added to that site. This won't be often; maybe three times a year. Maggie and I don't make as many backroad trips as we used to. But a photo-shoot is planned for this May, and hopefully will result in the addition of a few more images to the site.

Blog Entry of February 7
In an effort to bring in more income from the website,* I will soon be able to offer photo prints in small sizes in addition to the presently available large sizes. I will do the printing and mailing of these 5x7; 6x8 and 7½x10 sizes myself, instead of having a photo lab do it. I hope to have this added to the website menu by the end of this month. (*There is very little now).

The online free-read printing of my book THE HILLS AROUND US: KOREA 1950-1951 has been completed. However, I recently discovered in official military history websites that the LST beachhead landing I and my squad made with an aviation construction unit was in mid-July 1950, not in September. Appropriate changes have been made in the LST LANDING and the YONIL AIRFIELD chapters.

Managed to get some more stuff into the site before this year has run its course. But please note, it’ll take a few days for Morse Media to get these new pages in place and on-line.
1. Episode #6 of the Backroads of Ranch Country series.
2. Have added four chapters to THE HILLS AROUND US book (about my service in Korea during that war). Am getting close to the end of the book. Next month, or maybe February.

About the on-line reading of my Ranch Country book, GUARDIANS OF THE LAND. I recently decided to go ahead and put the rest of the book on-line, all a the same time, instead of adding another chapter one month at a time. The last seven ranches are now available for reading, plus our remote crossing of the Upper Missouri River by way of a two-vehicle ferry powered by a tractor engine and operated by a woman, a retired school teacher. I think you’ll enjoy “meeting” these ranch people as much as you did on the other ranches. And wait’ll you see the Dugout Ranch photos!

Well for Pete’s sake; I accidently deleted the information that tells how to order THE HILLS AROUND US book, and how to read it on-line. Am working on getting that info back in. (Two or three days ago, it was the Backroads episodes!)

Scott Ralston of Morse Media quickly put Backroads of Ranch Country back into the Home page (after I accidently deleted the entire category). Also, Episode #5 has now been added.
And I’ve greatly reduced the photo prices. This prolonged steep drop in the economy has put a heck-of-a restraint on the sales of art work, particularly photos. If you've had a particular interest in any of my photos, you should take another look at these new prices. Later today, I'll also do some editing re tech info in the photo pages; less reading to do.

Some of you return visitors to my website will have noticed just recently, that the category Backroads of Ranch Country is no longer in the Menu shown on the website's Home Page. The reason? A day or two ago, while correcting some errors in the existing Episodes, and attempting to add Episode #5, I overreached my ability in working on a website, and accidently removed the entire Backroads category.
